Schneider’s Pickleball was created in 2023 with a clear goal: to contribute to the growth of a sport that already has a strong and passionate community in Ottawa. From the moment we discovered pickleball, we saw how dedicated players and local groups had helped it flourish across the city.
We believe pickleball should remain welcoming, accessible, and fun for everyone. Our commitment is to support players of all levels, from those picking up a paddle for the first time to athletes working to elevate their game. As the sport continues to expand, we aim to create more opportunities to play, learn, and connect, while respecting and building on the foundation that already exists.
Schneider’s Pickleball exists because we believe in what this sport brings to people and to the community, and we are proud to play a role in its continued growth.
A Court for Every Player
Meet Coach Connor
Connor is a dedicated pickleball coach who began teaching in January of 2024. He has 15 years of tennis experience, including competing as a varsity athlete for the Gee-Gees at the University of Ottawa from 2020 to 2025, while studying Psychology. With a relaxed and encouraging coaching style, Connor focuses on making learning enjoyable while helping players of all ages and skill levels develop their game.

We are located in the Decathlon store (1055 St.Laurent blvd) in their decadium space (left of the store entrance).

Nope! We have all the necessary equipment you’ll need to play so just bring proper shoes, some water and good energy on the court!

You can book a lesson either by contacting us first to find a time or purchasing a lesson ahead of time. Either way you do it, we’ll happily arrange a date and time that works best for you!

Lessons are typically an hour in length, however, if you’re game for a longer session we’re more than happy to accommodate!
